You know when you hang around people so much, that you inherit their traits such as look or verbal traits, like swearing. Well my best friend is Anna, and as most people do, she swears a lot. Now, as most people do, they pick up some of the things, as I did; words like shit and fuck and such became CASUAL. Now. My boyfriend. Decided to tell me that he doesn’t like me swearing. I didn’t even realise I was saying it, so then I asked him. and I said things like 'bullshit' and 'full of shit'. yeah okay I won’t say it again. but then he said 'especially in front of someone like *****'

I didn’t realise it when he said it. but I realise now. he's embarrassed of me. I’m embarrassing to two people now. my mum because she says I’m fat. and him because I swear when I happen to be around certain people (I'm not saying these people are bad people, I love them to bits, it’s just that some of them swear a whole lot). I’ll change myself for him, not for the sake of others.

I mean shit to you, if you worry about how other people think of me other than what you think of me. I’ve been out with people where other people were like ‘what the fuck is wrong with that kid’ and I didn’t ask my partner to change… it is because of their faults, I grew to love them.
